Luciana Zamith Fischer is a member of the Florida Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Economics. She is also a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, where she was an editor for the Minnesota Journal of International Law.

Mrs. Zamith Fischer practices exclusively immigration law, and focuses primarily on employment-based immigration. Her clients include both large and small companies, and internationally recognized individuals. She represents clients pursuing employer-sponsored immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, and self-petitioning clients, particularly individuals who are in the National Interest of the United States.

At Leaf & Associates, Mrs. Zamith Fischer specializes in First Preference Immigrant Visa Petitions and National Interest Waiver petitions. She also has extensive experience working on Labor Certification Applications. In addition, she handles a wide variety of nonimmigrant petitions, including petitions for H-1B Professionals, E-2 Treaty Investors, L-1A Executives and Managers, Canadians and Mexicans entering under the North American Free Trade Agreement (TN visas), Individuals with extraordinary ability in the arts, sciences, business, athletics, movies, or television (O).

Mrs. Zamith Fischer also has experience in numerous other areas of immigration law, including immigrant and nonimmigrant processes for the medical professions, applications for asylum, cancellation of removal, waivers, criminal immigration matters, removal and deportation defense, motions to reopen and appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals (“BIA”), naturalization, and a variety of family-based immigration processes, such as victims of domestic violence and widow petitions. She has also represented a number of health care providers on Schedule A petitions.
